Figureus, Appearus!

And with those words, KittysPryde.com presents an exclusive review of the Severus Snape action figure from the upcoming Tomy line, based on characters from the soon-to-be-released movie “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”.

Professor Snape comes packaged with his wand, extra hand and sword, with the full assortment of the wave on the rear of the card.

He is well articulated, more-so than you’d think he’d be with his robes. This includes ball jointed knees, elbows and shoulders. He has swivel joints at the neck, hands, hips and waist, although his movement is hindered by his robes.

The sculpt is a fantastic likeness of Alan Rickman, which is especially awesome based on the scale of the figure. He stands around 4″ tall and is constructed of a soft, but sturdy plastic. Be warned..I lost the wand straight out of the package and actually substituted a piece of the wire tie used to keep him in the bubble.

I plan to review more of this line in the future and am told that NECA will be distributing the line in the US for Tomy in the future.
