I’m glad that I did. My curiosity has been slated. I probably won’t be picking up another issue, but I’m glad that now I know. I’m a fan of women with bludgeons. I’m a fan of women hunting monsters or killers. So I don’t know why I didn’t pick this up earlier.

I do like how this comic moves from the banal to the terrifying in the first few pages. Some might say the opening sequence is needlessly long, yet I like it. I like how the first killer is introduced. I like that when the police question the victim’s friend and she mentions the FBI they say the FBI isn’t involved which creates some mystery. The last page reveal is nice.

My one complaint: is the art. I like the overall story, but the art isn’t my favorite style. It looks good on the cover, but the interiors look weaker. The women all start to look alike. They seem to have the same face. The body motion is almost non-existent except for in the action scenes.

But don’t take my word for it, come chat about it on the Pryde forum.
