Hawkeye: Blindspot #2
Published by: Marvel Comics
Written by: Jim McCann
Penciled by: Paco Diaz (modern) & Nick Dragotta (flashback)

McCann really knows Hawkeye inside and out. The flashbacks are great, showing just how Hawkeye got onto the Avengers and what Captain America first thought of him. Hawkeye really is the best of them.

X-Men: Legacy #246
Published by: Marvel Comics
Written by: Mike Carey
Penciled by: Clay Mann

The New Mutants of the Age of X chase Legacy who for some reason wants to escape the Fortress. Because Legacy is running, Gambit decides to help her and Logan decides to shake the tree. Huh? None of it feels natural. It’s all forced into the storyline. It looks good though.

Sherlock Holmes Year On #2
Published by: Dynamite Entertainment
Written by: Scott Beatty
Penciled by: Daniel Indro

I’m liking the way this series is set up, with Watson as the narrator. It allows the story to keep Holmes as enigmatic as possible. The story has a decent pacing. Indro does good capturing the feel of the time period.

Wonder Woman #608
Published by: DC Comics
Written by: J. Michael Straczynski & Phil Hester
Penciled by: Geraldo Borges

Wonder Woman looks good. I like the new outfit. Borges does good as a fill-in artist. There’s some panels that have issues of perspective but overall it’s good work. The story is okay. Diana’s savior being Doctor Psycho is pretty interesting.
