The Sixth Gun #10
Published by: Oni Press
Written by: Cullen Bunn
Art by: Brian Hurtt

Another solid issue of this great series. This arc is about pieces moving across the board and new players being introduced. We see more people interested in the guns. Really feel for Becky. She needed a friend and he betrayed her.

Uncanny X-Men #534
Published by: Marvel Comics
Written by: Matt Fraction & Kieron Gillen
Penciled by: Greg Land

Cyclops once again proves why he’s one of the best tacticians. Excellant plan. It seems a kind of weak way to end the threat of the mutant virus though. Interesting way to deal with Shaw.

New Mutants #23
Published by: Marvel Comics
Written by: Mike Carey
Penciled by: Steve Kurth

If there is nothing outside the force walls then where do all those soldiers come from? Where did all the mutants come from in the first place? Where does this Avengers team from the upcoming mini-series work? What is the point of Age of X?

X-Men #9
Published by: Marvel Comics
Written by: Victor Gischler
Penciled by: Chris Bachalo

One of the better issues Gischler has done. Pretty good and solid. Excellant Bachalo art.

Uncanny X-Force #6
Published by: Marvel Comics
Written by: Rick Remender
Penciled by: Esad Ribic

Yay, another alternate time line story, with alternate reality Deatloks invading. I’ve never been a fan of The World concept since Morrison introduced it. It doesn’t make much sense, seems too powerful, and just isn’t a good concept. Hopefully it gets destroyed so don’t have to deal with it. Remender’s Deadpool is a wuss. Why is this a mission for X-Force? Why didn’t Fantomex just call in the X-Men? He’s hanging with them as well as X-Force.

The Mission #2
Published by: Image Comics
Written by: Jon Hoeber & Erich Hoeber
Art by: Werther Dell’Edera

Faster paced then the first issue. Corman’s ramblings add a layer of mystery to the story. Paul’s mission will soon cause conflict with his perfect family life. Makes you wonder what side Gabriel really falls on?
