Darkness: Fourth of Four Horsemen

David Hine ended the story well in a manner that resolves without being disposable. Hopefully the end of this miniseries will not be completely set aside. Jackie Estacado has to reach into an even darker place and pull from extra Darkness to defeat light and uphold the balance to secure the world, again. Despite Jackie’s character flaws he continually saves the world, much like the wicked Magus who Jackie aids in this fourth installment.

I’ve been a fan of the four horsemen presentation in this miniseries. I am glad that the four have not been destroyed to end the miniseries. I doubt that they will be reactivated any time soon but they can be. I’d like to see David Hine follow Charlie, Pestilence, to Mexico and tell his story.

This is not a good starting point for a new reader, but anyone that has picked up the other three will enjoy this. This will be a good closure to the inevitable trade paperback that follows every mini series. Get ready to enjoy.
