DC Reinvents it’s entire Superhero line up with new #1s Starting this August

According to USA Today DC comics will be taking all of it’s comics back to basics with new, younger versions debuting this September. The move is one that DC hopes will open up it’s universe to new readers as comics will be available for digital download the same day they hit the shelves in comic book stores.

Starting with Justice League #1 which will reunite the core line up of Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Wonder Woman and Aquaman; all DC’s titles will roll back to #1s which will feature younger versions of the characters and focus more on their interpersonal relationships.

“We really want to inject new life in our characters and line,” says Dan DiDio, co-publisher of DC with Lee. “This was a chance to start, not at the beginning, but at a point where our characters are younger and the stories are being told for today’s audience.”
