The New Avengers #13
Published by: Marvel Comics

Mockingbird is one of my favorites. I’m glad they’re not killing her off. I’m interested in seeing what having the infinity forumula in her does to her. Hopefully they won’t allow this storyline to just fade away.

Wolverine #10

Penciled by: Renato Guedes

We learn more about the Red Right Hand and the origin of the old man in charge. It’s a nicely paced issue. Alot of time is spent on the man’s origin. It’s interesting. Interesting to see how long this group has been around and how long they’ve tried to kill Logan.

Birds of Prey #13
Published by: DC Comics
Written by: Gail Simone
Penciled by: Diego Olmos

A bit disjointed in the storytelling. Muddled in a couple of spots. Not up to Simone’s normal standards. Kind of funny that Saiz is announced as the new artist and only does one issue before a fill-in.

S.H.I.E.L.D. #1
Published by: Marvel Comics
Written by: Jonathan Hickman
Art by: Dustin Weaver

This starts the second volume of this intriguing series. The fight between Da Vinci and Newton is still going on and we learn more about the history of the Forever Man, Michaelangelo. It’s great seeing all these historical characters living and existing in the Marvel Universe. This is a premise, real life “heroes”, that was a long time coming.

Dean Koontz Nevermore #3
Published by: Dynamite Entertainment
Written by: Dean Koontz & Keith Champagne
Art by: Leno Carvalho

This shows what happens when one man’s obsession goes too far. Bobby Godric is losing it and even though he has good intentions, he’s going about it the wrong way. So far this has been a well crafted series.
