Bizenghast, by M.Alice Legrow, was a great series from TokoyoPop which is still around even without the publishing company. It seems to be outlasting the publisher nicely. Now, an unreleased portion of the Bizenghast world is finding its way to collectors via Etsy.com. Series auteur Legrow sells costume pieces, jewelry, and now a Bizenghast ashcan Lost Bizenghast.

Lost Bizenghast: The Mechanical City is the first in a series of illustrated short story ashcans picking up pieces from the original series. Now that the editors are gone, Legrow is selling to the fans direct the other tidbits of the story. In addition, this series includes concept sketches and thumbnails from the writing of the original chapter, plus author’s notes!

This sounds like a must have for Bizenghast fans.

Ashcan-style zine, 36 pages. Note that these books are print-on-demand. Please allow up to seven days for your purchased book to be mailed. Shop now to hit that holiday season if you know any Bizenghast fans that need a little more of the story.
