Wolverine And The X-Men #5
Published by: Marvel Comics
Written by: Jason Aaron
Art by: Nick Bradshaw

I love this book. There’s just so much stuff going on in any issue. This one is no exception. Great characterization. Great situations. Just good stuff all around. I wasn’t a big Bradshaw fan at first, but this issue was his best work yet.

New Mutants #37
Published by: Marvel Comics
Written by: Dan Abnett & Andy Lanning
Penciled by: David Lopez

DnA manage to do something amazing. They make Mephisto a sympathetic character. I actually felt bad for the guy and his description of the amount of charity work he does, and why, was absolutely brillant. Good job with the date between him and Amara. The Lopez brothers do an amazing Amara. I’m a huge fan of their work.

Ferals #2
Published by: Avatar Press
Written by: David Lapham
Art by: Gabriel Andrade

Lapham’s werewolf story started strong and continues strong. There’s a twist in this issue. I thought for sure the Norwiegian girl from the first issue was going to be a werewolf. Looks like Dale is becoming one though. Which makes it a bigger mystery why this one is hunting him. Definately not a normal werewolf story.

Memorial #3
Published by: IDW Publishing
Written by: Chris Roberson
Art by: Rich Ellis

I’m really enjoying this series. Roberson has crafted a nice little fantasy story with a pretty deep and interesting world. There’s lots of different elements coming together in unique ways. Very interested in seeing where it all goes. The concepts introduced with the Tower of Babylon was interesting.

4.5 out of 5

Read: Battle Scars #4, Snake Eyes #10, Demon Knights #6, Dungeons & Dragons #16, X-Men #24

Sorry I wasn’t able to get as many reviews done this week. Between Toy Fair and a last minute trip to Chicago for work, didn’t have any time to read comics.
