It was going to be called Super Seven but then a toy company went and sued and now Stan Lee’s The Mighty 7, created with Archie Comics, is scheduled to launch in March.Mighty 7 seems like a nice title from Archie Comics, the home of the Mighty Crusaders–which they keep licensing out to DC comics but that is a side tangent.

“We have a book called The Mighty Seven, which is the world’s first reality comic book,” said Lee. “I am in it as a character. And other real people are in it as characters. So, that’s never been done before. It will be out soon, and there is going to be a number of them.” Speaking of real people in Archie comics… Archie Meets KISS.

Will this finally be the mass-market, kid-friendly delight that Stan Lee has been trying for in recent comic incarnations?
