Revolver started off pretty strong. Hartnell’s story was solid and felt like the Danger Girl of old. Even though there was some issues with Madden’s art, it wasn’t so bad that it affected the story.

Revolver ends up decently, a satisfying but quick end to the mini-series, but it’s not as solid as the first issue. The script ends up a little jumpy and the art makes it hard to follow in some sequences.

Well the script slipped a little, it was Madden’s art that really slipped. The linework looked more complete, it didn’t have as much of an unfinished look as before, but the perspectives were off alot more. The figures were out of proportion and characters didn’t look like they did before. Sydney Savage wasn’t looking like herself.

Overall I was glad to see the Danger Girls back and I wish we had had a better introduction to Sonya. She just seemed to come out of the blue and we really didn’t get to know her well at all. All we know is that she’s Sydney’s sister and she uses a bow. That’s it. More time could have been devoted to her, but hopefully we’ll have more time in future stories.
