The Reading Meter #3: June
Published on Thursday, July 5, 2012 by

Each month the Reading Meter looks at how different books move up and down, month to month.

Last month saw Justice League International get yanked from the pull list. This month sees another book fall off, Justice League Dark. Stormwatch is in danger and Voodoo would be except it’s already been announced as being canceled soon. The Ravagers, part of DC’s second wave of the New 52, makes it onto the list but it wasn’t a strong debut. Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning’s new series, The Hypernaturals, jumps onto the list with a very strong debut.

New Mutants #42 and 43 were sitting in my pile to be read and I was avoiding it because I had absolutely no interest in the Exiled mini-event. Zero. These mini-events can be good, but they can also be negative when they interupt the flow of a series and are something you’re not interested in.

One Response
    • I think Cobra is holding strong. Snake Eyes is at least holding steady in my opinion. The ARAH title seems like a sinking ship.

Young Justice isn’t on your reading list but it is holding steady too with a nice product that isn’t bogged down by reboot.
