    • Some things just look better in black and white, not to say that the color isn’t well executed.

      • Yeah, I have to agree. It seems to me that, if the art were planned from the outset to be in black & white, “upgrading” it to full color actually does the reader and the art itself a disservice.

        At the same time, IDW must have done the market research to support this venture, and the numbers must indicate that there’s demand for color versions of the originals.

        • The numbers support it. I agree. Black and White is a hard sale in the modern moment. Color outsells black and white. Seems like a sure thing.
